April Showers may Bring May Flowers...Except.

Way back in the 1500s, an English Poet coined the phase in my headline.  However, it really doesn't apply for the deep South since our flowers have been blooming for weeks.  I thought I'd show you how my backyard is doing.

I love the vivid colors and the Jasmine and variegated Ginger have spread to hid my backyard fence.  We have had enough rain this month, but parts of south Louisiana remain in drought.

A couple of drops did fall over me at the Zurich Classic, but today was basically dry & almost hot.  Brisk SE winds are still causing higher water levels outside the levee system.

There is a major storm over the northern plains where blizzard like conditions are making for difficult travel.  The eastern states have really warmed up with 80s up to Chicago & Detroit.

Sunday & Monday will see little change with a weak front bringing some drier air for Wednesday & Thursday.

Now if we can only copy this forecast for the 2 weekends of Jazz Fest?!!!  Enjoy your Sunday.  Stay tuned!
