Finally A Pattern Change As Warmth , Humidity & Showers Return...

The slow moving cut off low over the eastern states has finally moved out resulting in a huge warm up, except over New England,   Several new upper troughs are over the western states giving them the chilly weather.

As the new troughs head into the Plains, look for more severe storms to develop.  SPC is highlighting where that risk will be.

The top graphic is for Tuesday with the bottom valid for Wednesday.  The main upper energy appears to stay far to our north.

What you will notice this week is a return of the muggies and a different feel from this past weekend.

Note the 60+ dew points surging over Texas.   I don't see any cold fronts coming this week so temps should be 70+ each day.

The brisk north winds that produced the low waters levels, are gone with brisk south winds bringing water levels back to above normal later this week.  Hope you enjoyed this weekend?  Stay tuned!
