Welcomed Cool Down Will Not Linger...

After a stretch of Summer-like dew points (70+) over the Easter weekend, last nights front brought brisk north winds less humid air & cooler temperatures that made it feel chill this morning,  However, as skies cleared & sunshine returned, highs have warmed back to 70+.

A large surface high stretches from southern Canada down to the northern Gulf bringing delightful weather to much of the nation, except the Great Lakes and Northeast,  It still feels Winter-like with lingering snow showers for many.

As the ridge shifts to the east, a slow moderation will begin for us with 80+ highs back for later this week.  With the big Zurich PGA Golf Classic beginning on Thursday, rain chances will stay low but winds will make it a challenge for golfers.

In the short term, nights will be comfy cool with highs creeping back to above normal/average by Wednesday.  I don't see another front getting close until sometime next week.

This may be the coolest weather for us until early next October!  I suggest you schedule to be outside in the early mornings as it will feel great!  You know what's coming for the next 5 months.  Stay tuned!
