A surface and cut off upper low is making many states east of the Mississippi miserable while it's bringing slightly drier air to us down South. That will only slowly change meaning our sunny ,dry weather will continue into next week.
The front hasn't made its way too far to our south, but we are feeling the drier air (lower dew points), especially to our east. After the heavy rains on Friday, we should stay dry well into next week.
We won't see anymore strong cold fronts until late September, but this drier air makes night time lows slightly cooler.
Hope you use the sunscreen & hats when going to Jazz Fest tomorrow. Happy Mother's Day to all the mommas and enjoy our great weather. Stay tuned!
