Good News, The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow!

Yea I know, it was another agonizing, frustrating, depressing defeat for the Saints and we're finding life without Drew Brees is difficult to watch.  But I'd rather dwell on positives (Tulane, LSU, Michigan) and what else I was doing this weekend.  With a cold blast coming, I changed out my back garden with the usual cool season annuals.  My potted plants are still blooming fine.

Even Bubba, my Crown of Thorns survived the summer heat.  Right now, my lawn & pants need some soaking rainfall and we have a few showers around.

The first real cold push is coming for Tuesday.  The upper pattern has a ridge over the West with a deep trough over the East.

The super cold is still over Canada, but that upper pattern will draw down several waves of cold air keeping all of the states east of the Mississippi River below normal most of this week.

The real question is will the front trigger some welcomed rainfall over us?  Our dew point is back to 70+ so the low level moisture is in place.   Once the front is by us, the rest of this week will be sunny and dry.

So our Saints lost.  Be like me, get a glass of chardonnay, pull out the sweaters & jackets and get ready for the real Fall feeling this week.  Stay tuned!
