Julia In Southern Caribbean This Weekend, Cold Front Coming Here...

There appears to be only one tropical threat during the next 7-10 days and that is the system along the coast of South America.  TD 12 is way out in the Atlantic bothering no one so NHC will focus on Invest 91 L.   It will likely not develop much until it moves away from land areas by Saturday.  Then it has the opportunity to become Julia.

With the strong cold front pushing down into the Gulf this weekend, soon-to-be Julia will be blocked from coming our way.  So let's look at that front.

Wow-ee, it's getting chilly up in Canada with a mixture of sleet & snow on the north side of Lake Superior.  30s are plunging down over the northern Plains and we may need to break out some sweaters this weekend, especially across the North Shore.

With such quiet weather, I may not post again until Friday.  Don't mind when it's hard to find something to talk about.  That means we're not talking hurricanes!   Stay tuned!
