Now that Nicole is gone, more typical November weather has settled over the nation. Only the extreme East Coast is hanging on to 70+ temps. as most of the country is below normal/average. Since the upper pattern will be progressive/moving fast this week, we should see several real chances for significant rainfall.
After a stretch of very warm weather, this week will bring us back to reality.
Fortunately, this fast moving upper pattern will not allow the very cold air to push down into the Gulf. The North Shore may get close to freezing but not south of Lake P.
Sunshine should return for Sunday and early Monday before clouds surge back in Monday PM. Note the much lower dew points/drier air filtering in behind the cold front. This is good feeling air, if you're dressed for it. Enjoy Sunday and a Saints win. Stay tuned!
