West Coast Storm Could bring Severe Threat Here Tuesday...

After Friday's storms, we are in a lull for a couple of days.  However, a strong disturbance is battering California and the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) is all over it.  3 days ahead of time they have place a large area in a level 3 (enhanced) risk indicating a high confidence for severe storms on Monday.

The area doesn't include SE LA/MS yet, but it's likely to be shifted eastward on Tuesday. You can see how strong the system is on satellite and radar views.

It's bringing welcomed rain and snow to many of the western states.  We'll have plenty of time to watch it before it affects us.

Our main weather issue for the next couple of days will be dense daily fog already showing up along our coast to the west.

There is no cold air around the South and we'll stay 70+ until the cold front arrives on Wednesday.

Let's all be safe tonight as we welcome in the New Year.  Drink too much?  UBER or LYFT.  Stay tuned & GO Who Dats!
