Another Surge Of Rain Between 2-6 PM...

With Family Gras starting at 5 pm followed by parades all around SE LA., this is a quick update on this evening weather.  The upper low over Texas is triggering a new wave of light to moderate rainfall with the heaviest (T-Storms) staying well south of our coast.  IF all works out, the intensity of the rainfall should lessen after 6 pm.

I'm hoping for a break in the rainfall as there is a clear slot between the approaching upper low and our current cloud cover.

The good news for tonight is temperatures are not frigid.  The northerly winds are adding to the chill, but if you prepare for it, it's not that bad.   

Saturday will be colder as highs will struggle to top 50.   There will be some cold rain showers too as the upper low passes right over us.  

Sunday will be much improved as the sunshine returns.  after a chilly start, highs will warm to near 60.  I'm off to Family Gras with my rain gear.   Hope to see some of you out there as Vince Vance kicks off at 5 PM followed by the Jacksons at 6 PM.  Stay tuned!
