Will it be totally dry? Nope, but the heaviest down pours should stay to our north until late tonight. There is quite a temperature cool down behind the front.
You'll need sweaters and heavy coats for the next two days before a warm up begins by Sunday. Note how the dew points fall from near 70 over us into the 20s & 30s in Texas. That's much drier air.
So, as you can see, tonight is the only night with high rain chances. The front is approaching Baton Rouge and should reach us around 9 PM.
Radar is indicating another surge of rain is moving towards SW LA. That might delay the eastward movement of the front keeping parades mostly dry? Oooh, that would be nice. Stay tuned!
