No Tropical Threats, No Cold Air, Little Less Humid

The endless summer of 2023 shows no signs of leaving.  We do have an upper trough developing over the Great Lakes that will help dive a weak front through us over night.  However, there is no cold air except up in eastern Canada.   It has to get cold over western Canada, and that's not happening yet with highs still in the 70s & 80s.

We topped 90+ again today, but the drier air filtering in should allow night time temps to lower a little .

Even though the next few days will top 90+, look at the lower dew points (40s & 50s) that should make it feel better.

So rather than whine about it's too hot, let's be grateful that no model gives us a tropical threat for the next 10-14 days.

Former Hurricane Lee is moving into Canada with Tropical Storm Margot stuck way out in the north central Atlantic.  TD 15 should become Nigel, but his track again turns northward away from the U.S.  The Caribbean & Gulf are looking good!  So get yourself a cold drink and enjoy your weekend despite the lingering heat.  Stay tuned!
