Saints Lose, But The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow...

Always tough to lose, but when you give one away, err, let your opponent come back IN THE 4th QUARTER, shameful, pitiful, awful, terrible.  But compared to many folks dealing with life & death, it's only football.  Still it's hard to watch and leaves us on a downer.  But, weather-wise, we're getting closer to October.  NHC has highlighted several areas to watch in the Tropics, one being in the SE Gulf.

The chances for development are very low (10%) and no model has anything forming.  It's more a reflection of an upper level trough than anything at the surface.  The other stuff is so far out we need not worry about them.

So what am I seeing back over the states?  The main thing is the rainy season is getting an early start over the Pacific Northwest.

In addition, some rain (not much) is falling over the Mississippi River Basin.  There is a weak front triggering that activity, but that front is a weak one.

We are seeing some welcome heavy T-Storms this afternoon, but we still reached 90 again.

We'll finished September as one of the warmest ever.  I have a feeling we might go from summer right into winter this Fall.  What I mean is,  when the real fronts arrive, they will require sweaters and heavier jackets by the second half of October.   Some of you are saying, bring that on!

OK, that Saint's loss has me feeling so bad, I need medication (Vodka tonic) followed by more medication (chardonnay) later on.  Stay tuned!  Hey, at least Atlanta lost too.  Go Eagles tomorrow night!
