Today's cloud cover signaled a return of warmer air & higher humidity, After several chilly days, we're on the temperature uptrend as highs will get back into the 70s as high pressure shifts to our east.
Our dew points have jumped from the 30s into the 50s with south Texas already nearing 70. You will notice the different feel to the air tomorrow into early next week as the upper pattern has shifted once again.
We are back into the SW upper flow which will prevent any cold fronts from coming our way. Models are hinting that will change by late next week. Here's the upper pattern for NEXT Saturday.
That deep trough should bring down the coldest air of the season with freezing temps on both sides of the Lake for NEXT weekend.
For this weekend, time to bring back your shorts as each day should top 70. Morning fog could be an issue if surface winds slacken, otherwise, get outside and enjoy this December weekend. Stay tuned!
