My visit to my 2 older sons (Rob & Ryan) & daughter-in-law (Sarah) was just what the doctor ordered. What wonderful weather (75-80, super low humidity) we enjoyed that allowed us to venture up the mountains that surround this jewel of a city. If you haven't visited it yet, I suggest you put it on your bucket list and include Santa Fe in your itinerary. You won't be disappointed and the real Mexican flavored food was terrific!
Of course, as soon as I get back, the Tropics begin to show signs of activity. Fortunately, it's in the Eastern Pacific.
NHC has increased their probability for development to 40 %. The satellite view really doesn't show much yet. Regardless, it's in the Pacific and not our concern. Across the Atlantic, far out we see lots of Saharan Dust that should keep things quiet out there. The Caribbean & Gulf are clean with a stalled frontal boundary draped over us.
From what I've been reading, there are more and more signs leaning towards a less active 2025 season compared to last year.
Drier air/lower dew points are just to our north and it would be nice to see some of that filter in for Thursday and Friday.
A few locations received significant downpours today with the heaviest south along the coast. The clouds and showers have keep many locations in the 70s & low 80s.
Once this weak boundary dissipates, you know those 90s will be back. Glad to be home Gang. Stay tuned!
