Let me begin by saying I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support as I have read ALL your nearly 400 comments. Please don't feel sorry for Bob Breck. I've had a great life with two tragic exceptions. Paula gave me 32 fabulous years and Brenda 22+. I tried harder on my 2nd marriage, but I failed. No blame, so let's move on. I will find a companion to share my final years. I have been blessed to have a career doing what I loved. Truly blessed. On day 11th after surgery, I'm doing pretty good. PT was exceptional this AM and I even went to EJ Wellness Center and walked 10 minutes with my buddy Richard Wilson. Give me another 2 weeks and I'll be ready to swing a golf club! Here's a quick recap of the 2025 Hurricane Season.
The 13 named storms make it a slightly below normal season with the ACE (Accumulated Cyclone Energy) slightly above normal due to 3 Cat. 5 hurricanes. Weather Bell Analytics Joe Bastardi nailed the below normal ACE in the Caribbean, but was too far westward into the Gulf. My take? It's all about location and this year the United States was lucky. Think if the recurve to the north was farther to the west this year. It's all about location Gang, and next year we may not be as lucky. We are lucky now with this great weather.
As the upper high shifts to the east, we'll see a gradual warm up and by the end of the week it'll feel summer-like.
As the bottom graphic shows, there are no signs of Gulf moisture return.
