After a very frosty start, temperatures soared back into the 60s despite a cloud cover that made for hazy sunshine. This warm-up should continue into Thursday when another front arrives with cooler Pacific air for Friday. I'd uncover your plants as no freeze threat is coming for the next 7-10 days. A few showers might develop ahead of this front, but return Gulf moisture is limited right now.
As dew points approach 60+ by Wednesday PM, the next issue might be sea fog? This is a weak upper air disturbance that will fly by late Thursday.
Temps have shot up to 65-70 as far north as Denver. We'll be above normal for the next 7-10 days, making for a warm Christmas here.
This past cold spell is OK with me since it only lasted 3 days. It's why I live here. Up north, they sometimes stay below freezing for weeks. Let them have it! Finally, why I love Copeland Tower Living. Last night was our Christmas Concert, played by the 30-piece band from American Legion Post 350. My new friend Mindy played the flute.
The sound of music was terrific, the sing-along Christmas songs fantastic. Besides the great sunrises I see every day, I've met my new best friend, Valerie. She's brought me out of the Valley of depression into the World of Love that I've missed for years. I truly feel blessed despite the rough times of 2025. The next Podcast is tomorrow from the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. You can sign up to subscribe at bobbreck.com. Today was also a special day. I found my long-lost late wife's (Paula) Birthday Book.
For all my friends & family who thought Bob forgot your B-Day/Anniversary, I'm back buying cards! Stay tuned!
