Thank goodness we are in April and not January or February as a big dip in the jet stream will bring unseasonably cold air pouring down to the Gulf Coast by Saturday afternoon. Morning lows on the Northshore will dip into the 30s on Monday & Tuesday...upper 40s for the Southshore. Highs will struggle to get out of the 60s on Sunday & Monday. Add in a stiff North wind and you'll need your sweaters and jackets again. The good news is most of the rain should be gone before dawn on Saturday.
Our threat for severe weather with the cold front Friday night has diminished.
