Heavy Rains Coming?
A weak front early Sunday brought some great feeling weather, but very little rainfall. It's now 10 days since our last significant rain event, however, computer models are painting a very wet picture for much of the Southeast beginning on Wednesday and lasting through Friday. A slow moving cold front will have trouble fighting through a strong upper level jet stream from the Southwest. Several disturbances will ride along the front triggering widespread showers and T-Storms. The "training effect" could result in rainfall amounts of 4-8 inches or more. We will keep you alert to that possibility as the system gets closer.
