Snow For Northshore? NWS Says Yes !

The coldest air so far this season is plunging down across the Rockies and heading towards the Gulf Coast. The big question is how far south the cold will get. NWS tonight says far enough to produce 1-2" of snow Friday evening into early on Saturday on a line from BTR to Hammond to Picayune. Might happen...but my "gut" feeling is too early, not cold enough (core of coldest air staying north of AEX to MCB to MGM and moisture racing away quickly. My focus will be on temps at SAT & HOU Thursday & Friday. They must get into 20s for us to have any chance of seeing frozen precip. Geez, if all the ingredients come together & it does snow this early, we could be in for one heck of an exciting winter ! Again, remember last Dec. 11th. Snow flurries were predicted and 4-8" covered the N-Shore with 1-2" south. I just believe major snow events are not predicted in advance. When they are, we usually end up with a few flurries. Hey, if the Saints can go 11-0, anything is possible ! Stay tuned.

But Bob...more importantly than 11-0 is now you can tout...Playoffs, Playoffs, ya kidding me Playoffs!!!!

Nope I'm not kidding...

Playoff tickets are now on sale...I will wait to get mine as I have until the 17th and when they have officially made the playoffs. Because they wont be cheap...In 2006 the first playoff game for me was $60 followed by the 2nd $90! Not sure what they'll be this time.

Sure was a bit nippy this morning and its nice to get that cold crisp air. Another thing you could mention, even if we did get snow, it won't last on the ground long as temps will be above freezing.

My son told me his teacher got a text message saying....

Oh the weather outside is frightful but the Saints are so delight and its time to let the Redskins know...12 and O, 12 and O, 12 and O.

GO SAINTS!!!

Bob,

When it rains it pours, or should I say when it's COLD it snows!. In light of the climategate e-mail fiasco and the early cold, snowy weather, I pity those global warming folks because their case just keeps getting weaker and weaker. What's next? Are we going to find out that Al Gore is opening up a snowmobile factory in Golden Meadow? I gotta told you chere, that should confuse Boudreaux and his buddies.

And, don't yall remember lots of folks said it would be a cold day in hell before the Saints went to a Super Bowl? Well, it sure was hell here after Katrina and now we have cold days.

I'll bet the little fella can tell yall what that means.
