My 1st Saint's season was 1978 when the Saints went 7-9 with Thunder (Muncie) & Lightning (Galbreath). 1979 brought our 1st 8-8 season and the city was looking forward to 1980. Yikes! 1980 brought 1-15 and the bagheads. Who da thought it would take us 30 more years for a shot at the Super Bowl? (Buddy D?) Well, here we are...on the brink of something special. I think it will be our fans...the 12th man...that will will our guys to victory. I'll be on the FOX 8 tailgating Special Sunday 2-5 PM wearing my "game face". Going to the Dome? Make sure you have your game face on cuz we may not have this good a chance for the Super Bowl for years to come. Go Saints!!!
Oh...the weekend weather will be warm & spring-like, 70's with only a few showers Saturday night. Colder next week...even colder next weekend, but let's just enjoy one weekend at a time!

I'm sure glad FOX 8 doesn't use ridiculous terms like "Pinpoint" and "Exact" to describe its forecasts. Beyond 24 hours, it is impossible to meet either of these terms! By the way, Dawn Brown didn't really sign on to be a comic, did she?

We need everyone and all the positive mojo we can muster. What I mean, is that everyone in the city regardless of whether you are going to the game or not, need to wear black and all the Saints gear you can find, think of or buy.
Like Bobby Hebert said, "if ya got black drawers you gotta wear em". I had an old pair of loafers, so I painted them gold along with a old belt. Make your own stuff if you have to. This is survival of the fittest!
We are about to embark on maybe the most important event in New Orleans history. Yeah, I know it's just a football game. But it's more than just a football game. It's the one thing that all of us, black and white agree on without question, that it's our time now. And there won't be any room for petty disagreements or political squabbles. THIS IS SERIOUS!!!
All of you Saints fans need to remember how we have supported and had faith that ONE DAY we would arrive at this very moment. IT IS NOW HERE! "WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR" IS NOW!! We just can't blow it.
For crying out loud, for Buddy D and all the squirrels he had to listen to and all the years Buddy said we had to put up with the "Good Ship Lollipop", IT MUST BE DONE.
