Our daily showers have kept us less hot for the past 2 days and that should be the case again on Thursday. However, computer guidance indicates the upper high will build back over us by Friday hanging around all weekend. That should mean fewer showers and hotter temperatures back into the mid to upper 90s. NWS will likely reinstate a Heat Advisory.
The tropics are quiet as the weak system way out in the Atlantic has encountered strong westerly wind shear and is basically gone tonight.
