Last night the bloggers were jumping on the broad area of low pressure in the eastern Caribbean saying it will become our next Trop. Storm/Hurricane...which it still may. However, as I pointed out last night...there are no T-Storms around the center of rotation. Consequently all those computer models that guessed where it would go...can't tell you where it's going UNTIL something forms. NHC has cancelled the recon flight for this afternoon. Can't jump the gun on these systems.
The other swirl off our coast as become completely exposed (no storms around the rotation) and it appears to be drifting towards the SW Louisiana coast. Might increase our T-Storm coverage this afternoon, but no big deal except it's making for rough seas preventing the oil clean up to do much work. Next update tonight
