Cool Air Protection coming...

If you have been out tonight, you can feel the changing of the 'guard" taking place. Winds are from the north at 12-25 and the last of the showers are leaving us as colder air pushes into South Louisiana. Morning lows will be in the 50s north of the lake with most of the South Shore dipping into the 60s. Compared to the last 4 years, the strength of this front is about 10-14 days ahead of "schedule". With a deep upper trough predicted over the east coast for the next 4-5 days, any tropical activity will be forced well to our east. Computer models continue to develop several lows over the western Caribbean during the next 5-7 days, but they will be blocked from coming our way by the cooler, drier, heavier air.

In the short term, the next 5 days should be the best feeling air since back in April. Might even see some upper 40s on the Northshore and upper 50s away from the Lake on the Southshore. with plenty of sunshine and highs lower 80s...I might be feeling the "fall flu" coming on ! Perfect golfing/tennis weather!

On Dr. Jeff Master's site they are showing Invest 96L in the western Caribbean and give coordinates. How can they give coordinates on something that has no definable center?
