Snow Staying Far North...

From what I see, any frozen precipitation will stay on a line from Alexandria-McComb-Meridian line. Some sleet might fall briefly south of that, but it should be no big deal. South of the Lake we'll be too warm with temps in the 40s & 50s. Sunday will not be a pretty day, but I don't think the low pressure area will deepen as it moves by us to the south. This is the system that was off California and has quickly moved towards the lower Texas Coast. Years ago, it would just be another winter storm. But the media hype begins early and the alarmists seem to want another bad storm. I just think the air is too warm along the Gulf Coast and any real problems will remain well to our north. I'll update again tomorrow.
