Back to Grease Pens & Paper Maps !

The dreaded SW upper flow has done it again. It's raining when NONE of the computer models saw it coming. They just can't handle the SW flow. I know it was just a few passing showers, but they just sprung up from no where. How can you forecast that? Can't remember when I've been this frustrated trying to forecast. There is no glory when everyone is wrong.

Let's try it again. For Mardi Gras it SHOULD be dry. The upper level low is far to our north and pulling away. However, the Upper SW Flow continues providing us with mainly high, thin clouds resulting in filtered sunshine. IF we have any showers, they will be brief & more a nuisance. Happy Mardi Gras & stay safe.
