Finally a Fall Feeling !!!

Back in August I was hoping we would see early September cold fronts to help bring some relief from the long Summer heat.    I didn’t think it would take until the 1st week of October to feel real Fall temperatures.   But here we are, enjoying low humidity and comfy cool temperatures that might require light jackets or sweaters at night but not during the day.  Let’s soak up every moment because before long it’ll be getting too cold (for me).

This past weekend we saw what wind shear does to tropical systems.  Karen never had a chance once she reached the northern Gulf.   That’s why I mention, once into October, history tells us the “evacuation” type storms are over.   Wind shear become KING.  Long live the KING!!!  Stay tuned.

Yes, Bob... I will say it again... you are MY GENERATION'S "NASH ROBERTS"...! Since Karen started forming, I went to NO OTHER STATION and NO OTHER Meteorologist other than YOU... I am 46 yrs old and have felt more calming by YOU than any other local forecaster EVER... Even Nash, as a child, came across to me as "robotic"... My 64 yr old mother, for some reason, SWEARS by your counterpart on channel 4.... Again, I get that "robotic" feel there also... YOU ad PERSONALITY... HUMOR... yet KNOWLEDGE to ESPECIALLY Hurricane Season...! So, even though you may be 66 (still a young lookin "little fella"!), PLEASE don't retire anytime soon...!
