Thursday's Front

Our windy pattern of the past several days will take a brief time off on Wednesday before our next front on Thursday makes us windy again.  The difference will be direction…ESE on Wednesday…NNE on Thursday.   Wednesday we’ll be in the warm, humid air before a return to that crisp Fall feeling filters in behind the front for Thursday & Friday.  This next air mass will be about as cool as the past two fronts with nights in the 40s on the N-Shore & 50s on the South Shore.  Highs Wednesday near 80 will fall into the 60s & 70s Thursday & Friday with a slow warm up over the weekend.  Long range models are hinting a much stronger front will arrive sometime late next week.  Time to “winterize” your house & yard this weekend before it gets too cold!  Always find it foolish when I hear…”make sure your exposed pipes are wrapped.”   Huh?   Don’t you do that BEFORE  a freeze threatens, not when it arrives?   Get busy & Stay tuned!
