We are in the transition time of the year where the fronts get colder but the cold air doesn’t hang around too long. We typically see 1-2 really chilly days followed by a rapid warm up that doesn’t give our bodies time to acclimate to the chill. Once we get into December that pattern usually changes to colder & colder with periods of less cold (not warm) in between… but we’re not there yet as highs will warm back to near 80 for Thursday & Friday before a strong cold front chills us again this weekend. There will be some showers with this front, mainly Friday after dark into early Saturday, but we are not expecting any T-Storms. That could change with the front next week on Tuesday. It appears an upper disturbance will dip much farther to the south “potentially” bringing a severe weather threat closer to us. Way too soon to know for sure. What is sure is that our roller coaster temperature ride will continue this week.
