Don't be Fooled by Warmth

After a very chilly stretch last week, we have warmed dramatically with highs likely to be 70+ most of this week.  But don’t let that fool you as we are now in Meteorological Winter (Dec-Feb) where wild temperature swings are the norm.   Long range models indicate another surge of Arctic air will plunge southward arriving here for this weekend.  Right now I see no freeze repeat, but it will definitely be back to heavy weather gear over the weekend.  Our real issue for the next several mornings will be dense fog so prepare to allow extra drive time.
