Gotta love The Weather Channel naming storms. Cleon moved out of the Rockies from Denver bringing snow and cold to the northern plains before moving across Minnesota into southern Canada. But wait, Cleon goes on. In fact, there may be several Cleons as wave after wave of low pressure develop along a slow moving cold front before the final Cleon on Sunday (Cleon IV?) races up the east coast plunging arctic air back over the Gulf South. We will have to pay attention next week to see how much of the cold is able to penetrate the SW upper flow? For now, IF you plan on driving north Friday thru Sunday, keep us with the weather as there will be lots of freezing rain and sleet making for icy travel. Stay tuned!
With the departure of Kim Vaughn from FOX 8 last year and now with Derek Kevra leaving Ch. 4 for Detroit, that leaves only one TV weathercaster in the city that is a AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM). Yes I am !
