When another Winter storm is affecting the SE & the East Coast, at a time when the worst winter (Chicago 25 days zero or below!) since the late 70s is creating suffering for millions...come this ditty on my e-mail. "Most Americans support action on Global Warming" ! I kid you not...I can't make this stuff up! Yep, a group called YALE Project on Climate Change Communications says a survey taken in the "final months of 2013 finds most Americans support national action on global warming". Perhaps they need to retake the survey after the most severe Winter Cold since the late 70s has much of the U.S. praying for an early Spring. Global Warming? Geez I knew we haven't seen the last of the AGW crowd. So I looked up who funded this survey? Surprise surprise, 2 Enviromental foundations trying to save the planet from man. Translation - lower the standard of living/consumption for all while the privledged few enjoy their good life (Al Gore).
Those of you who follow me know I believe in climate cycles, some call it natural variability in nature. The AGW gang calls it weather extremes. The cycles are driven by changing ocean currents affected by changing solar energy output and volcanic eruptions. These changes ebb and flow over time. but it is the ocean currents that drive climate change.
As the chill of Winter finally loses it's grip, lets pay attention to all the groups that will keep coming out with more PR nonsense of Global Warming. Until then, stay warm very warn as we have another 4-6 weeks of ice & snow to endure
