Half & Half Weekend...

As usual we have many outdoor events this weekend that are dependent on good weather.   Unfortunately, we will have several rainy periods followed by some pretty chiily air.  let me detail.  Friday will be terrific with plenty of sun, gentle east winds & warm temps 75-80.  Saturday will start out with some fog, it'll still be warm (70s) but some showers will start to develop especially after 3 pm maily west of New Orleans.  Shower chances increase after midnight Saturday into early on Sunday with some heavy storms rumbling well north of us around McComb.  MOST of the showers should be ending after 9 AM on Sunday with cooler & drier air flowing in on brisk north winds.  Sweaters & Jackets will be needed  Sunday PM into much of next week as highs Monday through Thursday will be in the 60s.   In fact, computer models are hinting a Nor'easter could develop pulling yet another Arctic outbreak (Polar Vortex # 9!) down over the Great Lakes and into the deep South.  I don't see freezing temps for us south of Lake P. but we could see many mornings down in the 40s with 30s N-Shore.  Stay tuned!
