Phil now a Phool?

Back on Feb. 2nd, the folks in Pennsylvania yanked the old Groundhog out of his hole and proclaimed he did not see his shadow.   That should have meant (according to legend) the end of Winter was soon with Spring just around the corner.  Oh soooo wrong little varmine! Puxatawney Phil is now the Phool as the brutal Winter of 2013-14 continues with yet another Polar Vortex (# 9 or is it #10?) descending down out of Canada with more Arctic chill.  Coupled with a coastal nor'easter, life along the coast will be a challenge for the next 48 hours.   Locally, we'll see temps. staying below normal for the next 2 days, but the higher late March sun angle should make it feel rather nice...IF you're dressed for it.   Brisk north winds will make it feel more like the 50s on Tuesday with Wednesday being the coldest morning (30s N-Shore, 40s south), before a warm up returns for the rest of this week.   We may have to deal with some rainy periods later this week, but it appears highs should revound back to 70+.  Don't head north without the heavy weather gear.  Stay tuned!
