Mardi Gras 2014 Weather...In the Dumper !

No use to sugar coat it, Tuesday's forecast looks TERRIBLE !   What's worse than windy & cold?   Windy Wet & Cold.  Another fast moving upper disturbance is already triggering increasing rain and some sleet over Texas and it's all heading our way.   The timing on the rain should happen over the CBD between 9 & 11 AM and don't be surprised to briefly see some sleet (ice pellets).  Dress in layers and have the ponchos & umbrellas ready as our weather will go from nasty to brutal (for us!) during the day.   Things will improve a little for Wednesday & Thursday but we'll have to wait until Friday for highs to get back to "normal" (70).   By Sunday, a strong upper disturbance could bring us the threat for some severe weather.  Stay tuned!
