The National Hurricane Center each year goes on a tour to allow local media access to some of their senior forecasters and a look inside the NOAA Research Plane. The tour alternates between an east coast tour & a Gulf tour. Tomorrow they will be in New Orleans with the NOAA plane open to the general public between 3:30 - 5 PM. This is a good opportunity to see what it's like aboard a plane that intentially flies into the greatest storm on Earth. The weather will cooperate as we'll see lots of sun, a few clouds & no rain. Our current dry spell shows no signs of ending until sometimes next week.
P.S. It's raining across much of California tonight Governor Brown. Damn Climate change.
