No change Means some pain...
With a stalled upper air pattern showing no signs of moving coupled with a stalled high pressure centered right over us, we are in for a prolonged stretch of dry weather that now has reached 7 days. Plants & grasses will begin to wilt without watering since daytime highs are nearing 90. Next week should bring some relief in the form of typical spotty summer time showers, but no widespread rains are likely. Very light winds will result in greater air pollution and those with upper respiratory problems should plan more time inside in air conditioned buildings. Otherwise, put on the hat, lather up the sunscreen and get ready to enjoy summer in the south!
