Wow, what a media circus today as the government came out with their Climate Assessment Report. Want to get network coverage for your story? Invite all the network's weather reporters to the White House to interview the President. Have your PR firms saturate the media with all the talking points that you know they won't fact check. Keep repeating the same misinformation regarding "97% consensus with climate scientists." Disregard the current weather trends (record low tornadoes, longest stretch without landfalling Cat.3 or higher Hurricane in U.S, near record cold winters back to back with record snowfall amounts, etc). It is sad that a small group (97% of climate scientists) has tried to squash the views of thousands of other scientists. To make people think that climate hasn't changed in the past & that somehow man can stop any future climate change (or even reverse it!) is truly egotistical. Mark my words, when/if Congress passes new taxes to force America into lowering our standard of living, all you will have to do is FOLLOW THE MONEY. See who is on the boards of those companies that will benefit the most by those higher taxes. This is not about saving the Planet from Man. It's about men saving the Planet for themselves. Pay attention, get involved & better yet, get educated on BOTH sides of this Climate Debate.
We should have one more dry day before we enter a wetter CYCLE that could last into the weekend. A slow moving front brings the potential for heavy rainfall here Friday into Saturday. More weather extremes!

Bob, I am glad you posted this...I think the media just fell all over themselves on getting to interview the President...like he is an expert on the weather...
"To make people think that climate hasn't changed in the past & that somehow man can stop any future climate change (or even reverse it!) is truly egotistical." Wow, well said! If only this message would get out there in the media and reasonable people would see it. Unfortunately our media and our (so-called) leaders are outright dishonest. And you are also correct when you say 'Follow the money.'
