See You in October...

Yep, we will not feel this kind of air again until sometime in October unless we are lucky to get an early Fall cold front in September.   That's 4 long months of searing, sweating, oppressive heat that we've come to love as our long, hot summer.   It will begin in earnest next week as the ridge over the West re-positions itself over the Southeast creating sinking air, sunny skies and increasing temperatures.  I see no rain coming for at least a week, unless the 90 degree heat bubbles up a stray PM T-shower.   Gone are the comfy cool 40s & 50s at night replaced by 60s & 70s and hello to daytime highs of 90+ as soon as Tuesday.   Is it climate Change?   Nope,  It's call Summer and has often happened during the last 10-12 days of May.  Gardeners will want to get their sprinklers going this weekend to keep their plants looking good.   Enjoy Saturday & Sunday as it'll be warm, but not hot.   That'll change next week.   Stay tuned !

So,I guess every time the weather changes these days people think it has to do with climate change? Are people today that ignorant?
