September Feel in July

Wow...Oh what a Feeling!   Now I know what Donna Summers must have been singing about.  Our 2nd unusually strong July cool front has pushed well off the LA/MS coast bringing much drier air to all of the Gulf South.   This will result in delightfully cool morning temps on Thursday, but that good feel will not last.   North winds tonight will swing around to the east on Thursday and back off the gulf by Friday.  A strong upper disturbance will move across North Louisiana on Friday into Saturday helping to trigger widespread showers & T-Storms.  Some heavy rainfall is possible along with gusty winds & vivid lightning so we'll need to pay attention as this system goes by.  Sunday should see fewer storms, but any outdoor activity this weekend will need to deal with the higher rain chances.   No Tropical activity is likely for the rest of this month.
