The Way We Were...

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I was listening to Barbra Streisand sing "The Way We Were" from a movie years ago..."Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind, smiles we gave to one another for the way we were."   Reminds me of how as a preteen, we would go over to one of the Grandparent's houses (they rotated) for the "BIG MEAL".   As a kid I loved it since we had zero responsibility in preparing the dinner, just had to wait and chow down!   "Can it be that it was all so simple then?" Perhaps, families were not spread all over the country like now.  If you will be at a family dinner tomorrow with all your Brothers & Sisters, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins, enjoy the moment as you may remember years from now...The Way We Were.

Weather-wise, a weak upper air disturbance will blow through tonight with some showers, but they could be all gone by dawn.  We should even see some sun during the afternoon.  A stronger disturbance approaches for the weekend with big warm up (70+) followed by another big chill for late Sunday into next week.  Fortunately the core of the next couple of Arctic blasts will be over the Great Lakes & Northeast.  Can't wait to watch the Macy's parade tomorrow to see all the folks bundled up.  Burrrr!  Stay tuned!
