Here They Go Again...

The headline story in today's paper talked about Climate Change (again) saying a recent poll found 71% of those polled believe in Climate Change.  Huh?  What a dumb question as since the history of our Planet, the climate has ALWAYS been changing.  The reason Climate Change is not playing a key role in campaigns is hundreds of thousands of JOBS are dependent on producing affordable & reliable energy.  It's as simple as that.    A group of scientists, who's livelihood depends on believing CO2 is the driver of change, control most of the information going out to the media.   You rarely see a story with an opposing viewpoint and that is my point.     I will go more into this in a later blog.

We remain in a lull after Dorian, but I suspect the Tropics to wake up in another few days.  NHC is watching a wave coming off of Africa that models appear to develop.  We'll have a long time to watch.  We did see a few showers bubble up this afternoon and that has helped in keeping a several degrees under yesterday's 99.   Hopefully each day will have a few cooling showers around.  Models are showing our first REAL cold front in the 10-12 day timeframe.   It's coming Gang, and then it's soon October!  Stay tuned!
