Most of Canada is now cooled into the 20s & 30s and some of that chill has plunged over the northern Rockies. Montana received its 2nd snowstorm with the snow expected to spead into the northern plains with 1-2 FEET expected.
The Gulf remains quiet as strong SW wind shear will prevent any tropical development.
NHC is still highlighting areas off the east coast for storm formation and we could see Melissa named during the next few days.
If not there, perhaps a cluster of storms over the Caribbean might produce the next named storm? Either way, she will not be our problem since the fronts keep coming.
Hopefully one of these fronts bring us some rain, but for now I continue to water my lawn & garden. Stay tuned!
