Gloomy Skies Won't Stop The Party...

OK, so it would be better (and warmer) if the sun were out.  However, the clouds make block the sunshine, but NOLA will still shine to the nation tonight as we see who is the National Champion in college football.
You all know I graduated from Ann Arbor 51 years ago and they will always be MY team.  However, I have lived nearly 42 years of my life in Louisiana and I feel like LSU is my team now. (especially since Michigan can't win anymore!).   I expect it to be a wild one (much like the Chief/Texans yesterday) and I'm thinking LSU 48 Clemson 40 as the final.   Geaux Coach O & Joe B. !

We still have a low sun angle and low clouds are difficult to "burn off" until we get later into March & April.  What is discouraging to me is to see the swath of clouds go all the way back into the sub-tropical Pacific.  That tells me we will not see any Arctic air this week and we will stay very mild, almost too warm.

Models are still calling for an Arctic invasion for the last 10 days of January and the super cold (40-50+ below zero) air lingers up in Canada & Alaska.   I mentioned several blogs ago that the real cold might not arrive until the Carnival Parades start coming.

But enough about the weather.  Today is all about LSU and saying...WE'RE NO. 1 !!! Stay tuned!
