The back edge of the rain shield should be mainly east of NOLA by 6 pm and the drying out process will begin. No real cold air follows this front, in fact like yesterday, there is no snow with this rainy system all the way up north. You have to go back into Iowa to find some snow.
The Super Cold remains bottled up in norther Canada & Alaska and long range models indicate that's where it will stay for the next 10-14 days. We have not seen the prolonged east coast upper trough this Winter and that is why the East & South have been mild. Models again dive the trough over the West later this month so that should keep the skiers happy in the Rockies.
We are totally focused on the Vikings this weekend so I will not talk about Green Bay until after Sunday. Sunday should be a great day for tailgating here before the game, if you are dressed for it. I just have good vibes regarding our guys. We have the right mix of youth and veterans and this is our year. Last year should have been, but we all know what happened. Let's do what LSU has been doing all year. Keep scoring and they can't catch us. Get ready to party Who Dat Nation! Stay tuned!
