Happy Days Are Here Again...

After a dark, gloomy, sultry morning turned darker with T-Storms around midday, this afternoon gave us a glimpse of what's to come.

Note how "the skies above (to our west) are clear again", happy days are here again and will stay for the next week or so.  A weak "cool front" is staggering thru bringing mainly drier air.  Our dew point at noon was 74 while at 4 pm it's down to 65.   Dry air and sunshine (along with west winds) means Friday will be almost hot perhaps near 90.

Dew points are in the 40s & 50s back in Texas and that is the "feel good" air coming our way.   Another fast moving upper disturbance will pass well north of us on Saturday bringing in a re-enforcing surge of drier air that will hang around for most of next week.   I only had .26" of rain with today's showers so I'll be back watering the garden by Saturday and Sunday.  Despite staying at home, try to get out into your yard to enjoy our great weather before the real feel of summer returns next month.  Stay tuned!
