A Beautiful Easter Weekend...

The first 2-3 weeks of April still can bring us cold fronts that pack a punch before we start to see those cold fronts lose their temperature impacts as we head into May.   This last front has really cleaned out the low level moisture plus bring some much below normal/average temperatures.

This is all courtesy of a large area of high pressure that covers the eastern 2/3rds of the nation. Despite clean skies making for brilliant sunshine, it is really quite chilly east of the Mississippi.

note the big warm up over the Plains that indicates what is coming to us for next week.  Dew points in the 20s cover the Gulf coast signifying very dry, good feel air.

If you don't mind the chilly nights, this 7 day is almost perfect!  Enjoy it knowing after next week's warm up, yet another strong cold front is coming for next weekend.  Yippee!  Stay tuned!
