Here You Come Again And Again And Again...

Seems I'm either living Bill's Murray's Ground Hog Day over and over again, or I'm hearing the Dolly Parton song, "Here you come again".   It's been another day of more rain with a round before noon and another right now.

Oh it is keeping temperatures from being hot, but I think most of us will accept some heat just to dry out.  So what is going on?

Usually during the Summer, the Atlantic Ridge/Bermuda High extends westward across the SE U,S,  But not this year as the high remains back eastward in the Atlantic with our weather dominated by surface and upper air features.  I've drawn on an upper low over northern Missouri with several disturbances rotating around it (circles)  In addition, there is an upper low east of Florida.   Without the Bermuda High, we keep seeing above normal clouds and showers.  That is not likely to change much this week, but we could see some drying tomorrow if the next disturbance back over Texas rotates more to the northern part of Louisiana.  Just keep the rain gear handy Gang.

Aside from a tropical wave moving through the islands & the upper low approaching Florida, the Tropics remain quiet.   I know you're tired of seeing this same extended forecast.  It's hard to think of new stuff to say when not much changes.  Stay tuned!
