Cold Front Will Usher in Fall With Good Feel Air...

The Autumnal Equinox is Wednesday at 2:21 PM CDT and a REAL cold front will make it feel like Fall with much cooler and drier air.  Night time lows north of Lake P. could even dip into the upper 40s on a line  north of Folsom, Bogalusa to Picayune.

However, before the front arrives, we still have the threat for some heavy downpours today and early on Tuesday.   The rest of the week should be dry and nice allowing all the repair workers perfect conditions to try to get folks back to normalcy, which will take months for many.

The Tropics remain very active, but all the threats should stay well away from the U.S.  In fact, the 2 named storms (Peter & Rose) are projected to head into the north Atlantic.

The 3rd disturbance coming off of Africa is at a lower latitude and might be a concern down the road, but it's 10-14 days away to we'll have plenty of time to watch it.

For now let's focus on the coming front that is much needed and welcomed by all.  We all feel a little down after the Saint's loss, but perhaps that was needed to get the team more focused?  Stay tuned!
