Our warm October start will continue for another 5-6 days, but IF models are correct, that heat wave will end by next Saturday. It won't bring out the sweaters and jackets, but should get us back into the 70s.
You probably noticed some clouds develop during daytime heating, a sure sign that low level moisture was returning from the Gulf.
Dew points in Texas are back in the 70s and we'll get back into that tropical feel this week. Notice how chilly it is out over the Rockies. It's coming Gang, just be patient.
The Gulf and Caribbean remain quiet, but NHC is still trying to find Wanda.
I see a number of possibilities, but the system off the Carolinas is being sheared apart. The other 2 look better, but they aren't heading towards the Gulf. The most important thing today is...SAINTS WIN...SAINTS WIN !!! Who Dat! Stay tuned!
