A Dry Week With a Warming Trend...

Today began rather ugly this morning with some leftover sprinkles and chilly, damp temperatures.  Skies cleared this afternoon allowing temps to recover into the 60s.  The main rain shield stay off our coast with rain amounts barely enough to wet the ground.

There remains an upper tough over the Great Lakes and Northeast keeping them snowy & cold while much of the country sees lots of sunshine and mild temperatures.

Perhaps you noticed it is warmer in Denver than it is here?   I don't see another front coming this week, which should mean we'll stay dry with a warming trend back into the 70s.

Models have backed off developing a deep East coast upper trough for the next 7-10 days which should result in our temperatures staying above normal with no freeze threats.

We all know our hurricane season ended in mid October, but the taste of Ida will linger for years.  Finally, I apologize to Buckeye nation for the prolonged celebration in Michigan stadium yesterday.  For those of you who don't keep up with sports, Ohio State had won 15 of the last 16 meetings against Michigan with the last 8 being in a row.  I remember an old coach ( Saban ?) once saying after his player over celebrated a touchdown..."son, act like you've been there before and expect to be there again".  It's been so long for us Michigan grads/fans to remember how a win feels, you need to cut us some slack.  Not sure when we'll get there again!   Stay tuned!
